William 'Bill' Hart

70 year old, William C. ‘Bill’ Hart, passed away at his home in Wheatfield on June 25, 2010.

Bill was born to Bernard F. and Minnie (Whitaker) Hart on December 21, 1939, in Hammond, Indiana. Bill attended Tefft and Wheatfield Schools. Bill was an Operating Engineer for the Local #150 for 37 years, the American Post #301 of Kouts, and a Veteran of the National Guard. Bill especially loved spending time with his grandsons along with riding his Harley, gardening, and the Legion Turkey shoots.

Bill is survived by his wife: Barb, brother: Skeeter (Barb) Hart, step-children: Kip (Gina) Robbins, Shelley (Matt) Kucinski, grandsons: Marcello and Oliver Robbins and Jordan, Cameron and Caden Kucinski, niece: Alicia Hart, nephew: Brandon Hart.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents: Bernard F. and Minnie Hart, and brother: Bernard R. Hart.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, July 1, 2010 from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Paul Bailey handling services. Per Bill’s wishes cremation will follow.
