Willetta Mae Nabors

83 year old, Willetta Mae Nabors, of DeMotte, passed away October 14, 2020 at Franciscan Health, Crown Point, with her loving family around her.

Willetta was born to Earl and Helen (Hastings) Cockrell-Reasons on September 22, 1937, in Danville, Illinois. On December 26, 1953 in Corinth, Mississippi. Willetta married the love of her life: Ronald E Nabors. She enjoyed being a housewife, and baby-sitting children. Willetta liked to listen to gospel music, cook, do yard work, and read.

Willetta is survived by her loving family: daughters: Paula (Garry) Wiltshire, & Jennifer (Shane) Howard, 5 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, siblings: Dee Weddington, Paul (Karen) Cockrell, Teddy (Donna) Cockrell, Ron (Sharon) Cockrell, Carroll (Flo) Cockrell, and many nieces & nephews and several sister-in-laws & brother-in-laws.

Willetta was preceded in death by her husband: Ronald E. Nabors, son: Mark Nabors, and great-granddaughter: Alexis Mae Reinders, siblings: Bettye Retzlaff, Bobby Cockrell, Bill Cockrell, and Mary Cetnar.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, October 18, 2020, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Willetta will take place at the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. Graveside service will take place on Monday, October 19, 2020 at 10:00 a.m. at the DeMotte, Cemetery.
