Wilbur Dean Garlich

70 year old Wilbur Dean Garlich of DeMotte formerly on Glenwood IL passed away on Sunday March 2, 2008 at his home with his loving family around him. Dean was born on August 8 1937 in Bolkow Missouri to the late Virgil and Septimia (nee: Williams) Garlich. Dean worked for the 502 Local Union of Cement Finisher. Dean was a member of the 77th Special Forces out of Fort Bragg serving our country from 1955 until 1958. Dean is survived by three sons Mike & Debie, Scott & Wendie, and Gary Garlich. Military Graveside rites will be conducted on Saturday March 8, 2008 at 11 AM in the Holland Cemetery, DeMotte with Chaplain Marjorie Egger Officiating. His parents, two sisters, two brothers, and his special friend Susan K Wickstrom preceded Dean in death. Dean’s funeral services were handle by the Boersma Funeral Home of Wheatfield. Memorials may be given to Jasper County Hospice.
