Wendell Northcutt

74 year old Wendell E. Northcutt passed away July 26, 2008, at his home.

On May 13, 1934, he was born in Ravenscraft Tennessee to Raymond and Ethall (Bennett) Northcutt. On September 15, 1984 he married Joyce Cooper.

He was employed at U. S. Steel as a supervisor at the Tubing Division.

Wendell was a veteran of the U. S. Army where he worked with artillery and heavy equipment operator; he was part of the “Hell on Wheels” division.

Wendell is survived by his loving wife: Joyce, children: Dianna (Mamon) Syed, Jacqulene (Doug) Davis, Linda Mackall, Richard Webber, Howard Webber, 17 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren. He is survived by brothers and sisters: Hershel (Janet) Northcutt, Clara Lorrainne Worrell, Brenda Willems, Dale (DeDe) Northcutt.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one child.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday July 31, 2008, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, In. Services for Wendell will take place on Friday, August 1, 2008 at 10:30 a.m., at the Boersma Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Helton officiating, interment will take place at the DeMotte Cemetery.
