Warren Swart

69 year old, Warren Swart, of DeMotte, passed away unexpectedly April 12, 2008 at the University of Chicago Hospital, with his loving family around him.

On August 10, 1938, Warren was the fourth child born to Leonard and Mary Catherine (nee: White) Swart of DeMotte on the farm he grew to love and resided his entire life. He graduated from DeMotte High School in 1957. On July 11, 1958, he married Joanne Bruechet. Warren was a farmer, hunter, and avid fisherman. 

He is survived by his wife, Joanne; daughter, Diana & Andy Boersma; son, Dale Swart; grandson, Nicholas & Amanda Boersma; two brothers, Leonard & Shirley Swart and Howard & Janeen Swart; two sisters, Mary & Ray Steele and Catherine Swart along with her special friend Bob Krygier.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, Leonard and Catherine; two brothers Louis & Morris.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, April 16, 2008, from 3:00 until 8:00 P.M. (CST) at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will be held on Thursday, April 17, 2008, at 10:00 A.M. (CST) at the funeral home with Pastor Brian Allred officiating.

Interment will take place at the Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, Indiana
