Warren J. Barker Sr.

Warren J. Barker, Sr., of DeMotte, passed away December 25, 2022 at his home, with is loving family around him.

On May 19, 1948, Warren was born to Melva and Dorothy (Fischer) Barker in Rensselaer, Indiana. He was a graduate of Wheatfield High School, class of 1966. He worked as an Operating Engineer, Local 150, for 56 years. He married the love of his life, Mary McNamara on April 15, 1967, in Crown Point, Indiana. He attended the DeMotte United Methodist Church. Warren was a member of the Masonic Lodge of Hebron # 502. He enjoyed golfing.

Warren is survived by his loving family, wife: Mary, children: Warren Jr. (Tonya) Barker, Robbin (Scott) Greer, 4 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren, and two sisters: Shela (Jack) Lawrence, and Pam Spencer.

Warren was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers: Marvin Barker, Larry Barker, and Darrell Barker.

Private Graveside Services will take place at the DeMotte Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Schriner's Childrens Hospital.
