Vivian H McDonald

64 year old, Vivian H. McDonald, of Lowell, passed away July 15, 2024.

On January 17, 1960, Vivian was born in Rensselaer, Indiana, to Elmer ‘Gene’ and Dottie (Hale) Hancock. She was a 1978 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School. She married her honey, Joseph McDonald, on October 9, 1982, in Thayer, Indiana. Vivian worked in health care. She was a member of the Lady’s Aux. at the Wheatfield Legion Post #406. Vivian liked to garden, make crafts, and she made an especially delicious pumpkin roll.

Vivian is survived by her loving family: husband: Joe, children: Molli (Adam) Beeson, Adam McDonald, 3 grandchildren, her father: Elmer ‘Gene’ Hancock, siblings: Mary Jo Albin & Tammy Hitz.

Vivian was preceded in death by her mother: Dottie Hancock and brother: Donald Hancock.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 18, 2024 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Vivian will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 19, 2024 with Pastor William Taylor, officiating. Interment will follow at the Wheatfield Cemetery. 

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wheatfield American Legion Post #406.
