Virgil Oliver

78 Year old, Virgil Oliver, of Medaryville, passed away August 5, 2021.

On January 2, 1943, Virgil was born to George and Lillie (Joseph) Oliver in Rensselaer, Indiana. Virgil was a truck driver. He liked to mow his lawn, and he took great pride in his yard work.

Virgil raised 2 children: Misty (Dean) Pigg, and Travis Hunt,

Virgil is survived by: Misty (Dean) Pigg, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and many, many nieces and nephews, and significant other: Vickie and friend: Juanita Oliver.

Virgil was preceded in death by his parents, Travis Hunt,  7 siblings: 5 brothers: Burt, Kenneth, George Jr., Willie Clay, Bill, 2 sisters: Bonnie Altman & Dicie Mize.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, August 9, 2021 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Virgil will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 10, 2021 with Pastor Paul Baggerly officiating. Interment will follow at White Post Cemetery, Medaryville, Indiana.
