55 year old, Terry D. Lahman of Rensselaer, passed away December 29, 2012 at his home.
On August 19, 1957, Terry was born to Ken Lahman and Barbara Murphy in South Bend, Indiana. Terry was a lifetime area resident. Terry grew up to be a caring, loyal and hard-working man. He was known for his hard work and attention to detail. Terry and Kim built a wonderful home together in Rensselaer surrounded by nature, a peaceful sanctuary of his own making. Terry loved being outdoors on his John Deere perfecting his art of landscaping, leaving a piece of himself in everything he touched, and in all he touched, he will be greatly missed.
Terry is survived by his loving wife: Kim; son: Adam & Becky Lahman, step-son: Michael Skinner, in-laws: Tom & Marva Barrett; brothers: Gary and Kenny; sister: Brenda, many nieces and nephews, and his two favorite companion shiatsus: Jasper & Molly.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, January 3, 2013 from 11:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Terry will take place at the funeral home on Thursday, January 3, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Tim Hestor officiating.
Per Terry’s wishes cremation will follow.
