Ted L. Henderson Sr.

69 year old, Ted L. Henderson Sr., of Wheatfield, passed away May 15, 2009 with his loving family around him.

On October 11, 1939, Ted was born to Chester and Ruby (nee: Tucker) Henderson in Hebron, Indiana. Ted graduated from Boone Grove High School. Ted married Debra (nee: Dadlow) on October 21, 1994. Ted was a truck driver retired from Riverdale Heat Treat and owned and operated Cedar Lake Towing for many years.

Ted is survived by his wife: Debra, children: Gloria & Joe Carns, Pamela & Mark Altop, Rhonda & Dennis Rogers, Robert Fogle, and Jennifer & Ryan Higer, 15 grandchildren, and 4 great-grandchildren. Ted is also survived by his mother: Ruby, siblings: Leona Dishman, Don & Barb Metcalf, Dave & Jeanette Metcalf, Dan Metcalf, Joey Metcalf, and Jan & Dave Schwanke

Ted was preceded in death by his father Chester, and son Ted L. Henderson Jr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, May 22, 2009, from 3:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Ted will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 22, 2009 at the funeral home with Chaplin Frank Klobucar officiating. Interment will take place at the Mosier Cemetery in Wheeler at a later date.
