97 year old, Tanneke A. Fase of DeMotte, passed away November 19, 2012 at her home.
On October 7, 1915 Tanneke was born to Hank and Cornelia (nee: VanDrunlan) Overbeeke in Zaamslag, Netherlands. She graduated from school and attended 2 years of college. She taught sewing and cooking classes in the Netherlands. She married Frederick DeVisser in 1945, who passed away in 1954, she then married Anthony Fase in 1966, who passed away in 1990. Tanneke was a member of the American Reformed Church of DeMotte, a member of Hope Circle and the Golden Agers.
Tanneke is survived by: Jackie (Robert) Mausolf, Joyce Fase, and Jill Fase. There are 13 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren, and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Two brothers also survive: Joe Overbeeke and Piet Overbeeke.
Tanneke was preceded in death by her husbands: Frederick DeVisser & Anthony Fase, children: John Fase, Robert Fase, & Alvin Fase, one grandson, one great-grandson, two brothers, and one sister.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, November 24, 2012, from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. at the American Reformed Church in DeMotte, Indiana. Services for Tanneke will take place at the church on Saturday, at 11:30 a.m. with Pastor Dan Jelsma officiating. Interment will take place at the Holland Cemetery, DeMotte, Indiana.
