Sue A. Bowen

78 year old, Sue Bowen, of Wheatfield, passed away May7, 2024.

On February 7, 1946, Sue was born to Charles and Mary (Brown) Carter, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Sue married the love of her life, Sam Bowen Jr., on November 5, 1965. Sue was the best cook. She liked gardening and her flower beds.

Sue is survived by her children: Penny (Mark) Bowsher,

Michele (Tammy Haynes) Bowen, and Sam Bowen III, 4 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and siblings: Ronald Carter, Barry (Janet) Carter, Sharon Williams, Sandra Rajkovic, and Sara (Bill) Petersen.

Sue was preceded in death by her husband: Sam Jr., her parents, and brothers: Jim, Mitch, Larry, and Tom Carter.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Monday, May 13, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Sue will take place at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, May 14, 2024. Interment will follow at the San Pierre Cemetery.
