Stoney Powell

Stoney Powell, age 45 of Wheatfield Indiana, passed away on May 12, 2009, in Garner, Arkansas. He was born May 14, 1963, in Cullman, Alabama to the late Winon and Mary Nell (nee Harris) Powell. He was a life long resident of Wheatfield, Indiana. Stoney attended Kankakee Valley School. Stoney served in the United States Army. He worked as a Boilermaker for C & C Welding.

Stoney is survived by his brother: Stevie (Kelly) Powell, sisters: Brenda Powell, Mary (Donald) Stewart, Debbie (Steve) Major.

Stoney was preceded in death by his mother, father, sister, Vonda Sue Powell and his best friend Roy Allen Mathis.

Friends may call Sunday May 17, 2009, 3:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Kankakee Valley High School. Funeral Service for Stoney will be Monday May 18, 2009, at 12:00 pm (noon) at The Boersma Funeral Home with Pastor Rick Helton officiating.  Interment will follow in the Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery in Wheatfield, Indiana.
