Steven A. Lapkovitch

64 year old, Steven A. Lapkovitch Jr., of DeMotte, passed away at his home, with his loving family around him on January 29, 2023.

On May 23, 1958, Steve was born to Steve Sr., and Sarah (Mares) Lapkovitch in Gary, Indiana. Steve graduated from Crown Point High School, and married the love of his life, Rose Keilman on September 9, 1978 at St. Mary’s Church, in Crown Point, Indiana. Steve worked for Saxon Drywall as a laborer. He enjoyed demolition derbies, fishing, and hunting. His favorite baseball team was the CUBS. Steve also enjoyed traveling.

Steve is survived by his loving wife: Rose, and son Bryon (Becky) Lapkovitch, and the fur babies, his mother: Sarah Lapkovitch, siblings: Rick (Kathy) Lapkovitch, and Ronald Lapkovitch.

Steve was preceded in death by his father: Steve Lapkovitch Sr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, February 2, 2023 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana 46392. Services for Steven will take place at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Jon Hill officiating.
