With heavy hearts we announce the passing of the very loved and cherished Stephanie Ellen Driscoll age 40, Wheatfield Indiana.
On October 10, 1984 Stephanie excitedly made her debut to the world in Munster, Indiana to Daniel Driscoll and Tammy (Spitzer) Driscoll. The day she was born her smile brought such joy to the hearts of her parents. Even though Stephanie’s life was unexpectedly cut short, that smile would continue to bring joy and happiness to so many around her, including Richard Haberlin, her life partner who she spent 15 years of her life with making many memories with. Now, don’t get me wrong even with that beautiful smile and loving heart Stephanie still could show the world her feistiness and occasional attitude to show you how she could stand her own ground, be strong and stay a fighter as long as she could through every health obstacle she endured, which she did with so much dignity and grace.
Stephanie’s loving heart was so big that she needed to share it with others which allowed her to spend the majority of her life in the healthcare field. Even though she had great fulfillment while caring for others, her life goal was to be a mother and on April 11, 2019 Stephanie was ever so blessed with her son Brayden. Stephanie only got the opportunity to be Brayden’s mommy for six short years, but in those six years she ensured she shared enough love with him that he would feel for a lifetime.
What did this feisty, loving, witty and beautiful young woman with a heart so big enjoy doing with her free time? Being with her family, being at the campground, tending to her garden, countless walks with her son and boyfriend, trips to the park and making one of the best Bloody Mary’s this side of Lake Michigan. Stephanie’s sense of humor infected everyone she met and a lot of times innocently making you laugh until you cried, but she always ensured she kept a good fashion sense while making you laugh with her love for shopping and manicures.
Those that loved Stephanie most will always be reminded of her when they hear a funny joke, smell the fresh vegetables of a garden or drink a Bloody Mary that is not quite as good as hers, see a pair of flip flops, but above all our greatest reminder of her will be every time we see a twinkle in an eye, hear a giggle, be embraced by a hug of her greatest gift she left for us all to cherish her lil Brayden. As we ensure her memory lives on through him and always keep him reminded of how much she loved him.
She was preceded in death by: James and Eleanor Spitzer (grandparents); Timothy and Dorothy Driscoll (grandparents); Frances Driscoll and John Denney (uncles); Cheryl Amador, Eleanor Driscoll and Christine Denney (aunts); and Christopher Cunningham (nephew).
Stephanie’s qualities enriched the lives of the many loved ones that she leaves behind with many fond memories including: Brayden Haberlin, son who was the life she breathed; Richard Haberlin her significant other who she loved dearly; Daniel Driscoll and Tammy Driscoll parents whom she cherished; Tabatha (Austin) Foresta, her beloved sister; Daniel (Danielle) Driscoll, her favorite little brother; her bonus sons Connor, Bryce and Korbyn Haberlin that she loved as her own; many adored nephews and nieces, numerous aunt, uncles and cousins; as well as Mr. & Mrs. Haberlin and family who loved very much.
