Shirley Ann Watson

77 year old, Shirley Ann Watson of LaCrosse formerly of Wheatfield, passed away June 12, 2011 at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso, with her loving family around her.

On December 30, 1933, Shirley was born to Frank ‘Doc’ and Opal (nee: Pettet) Jones. Shirley graduated from Wheatfield High School in 1952. She retired from the Porter County Jail as a cook.

Shirley is survived by her children: Rhonda (Tom) Pritchard, Mitchell (Ann) Watson, Anthony (Andy) Watson, Scott (Lillian) Watson, and John (Lisa) Watson, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren and sister: Eva Jean Scott

Friends are invited to visit with the family for a memorial service on Wednesday, June 15, 2011, from 5:00 until 8:00 p.m. at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana.

Interment will take place at Oak Grove Cemetery in LaCrosse, Indiana at a later date.
