Sherry L Beoughter
50 year old, Sherry L. Beoughter, of Valparaiso, formerly of Wheatfield, passed away May 10, 2022.
Sherry was born to Curtis H. and Christine ‘Tina’ (Kerkes) Beoughter, in Lafayette, Indiana on September 27, 1971. Sherry was a 1989 graduate of Kankakee Valley High School. She went on to become a beautician and a respiratory therapist for 25 years, at Valparaiso Care and Rehab.
Sherry loved animals, especially her rabbits as a child, notably her rabbit Thumper, and bird Ziggy, and dogs during adulthood. She loved to sew, making dresses and costumes. She loved her job as a respiratory therapist and loved helping sick patients. She enjoyed going to the casino with her Mom and sister.
Sherry is survived by her loving family: mother: Tina, sister: Jennie (Raymond) McClain-Kaufman, niece: Kayla McClain, nephew: Ronald (Sandra) McClain.
Sherry was preceded in death by her father.
Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 4:00 p.m. on Sunday, May 15, 2022, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Sherry will take place at the funeral home on Sunday afternoon with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
Per Sherry’s wishes cremation will take place.

We have known Sherry since she was a little baby. We are her Godparents and are deeply sadened by her passing. She has been through a lot these past years and now she is at peace and "home" with her Lord. Will miss you Sherr. Our love to Tina and Jennie and Kayla and "Tray".
