Sherrie L. Peck

62 year old Sherrie L. Peck, of Kentland, passed away suddenly, July 13, 2020.

On December 18, 1957, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Sherrie was born to Dexter and Carolyn (Russell) Cornet. She graduated from Kankakee Valley High School. Sherrie enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, and working at a local flower shop, visiting with friends from when she worked in various factories. Sherrie had an incredible gift to and creativity in, finding usefulness and beauty in things, which others would never see. She was a member of the St. John VFW #717 Auxillary.

Sherrie is survived by her children: Terry Peck and Carrie Peck, 3 grandchildren, siblings: Scott (Toni) Cornet, Lonnie (Amanda) Cornet, and Lorie (Greg) Jones.

Sherrie was preceded in death by her parents: Dexter Cornet, and Monte & Carolyn Neier, and husband: Gary Peck.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2020 at the Boerma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Sherrie will take place graveside at Graceland Cemetery, Valparaiso, Indiana, at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, July 18, 2020.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, masks and social distancing will be required.
