Shannon Lyn Schwanke

40 year old, Shannon Lyn Schwanke of Wheatfield, passed away April 26, 2012 at VNA Hospice in Valparaiso.

On September 29, 1971, Shannon was born to Jim and Linda (nee: Hendrichs) Klemp in Valparaiso, Indiana. Shannon graduated in 1990. On July 1, 1995, Shannon married Mike W. Schwanke at the DeMotte United Methodist Church. Shannon worked for AAA Supply for 21 years, and attended DeMotte Crossroads Church.

Shannon is survived by her loving husband: Mike, loving son: Dale, parents: Jim & Linda Klemp, sister: Kristine (Rick) Johnson, brother: Mikael (Jacylin) Klemp and grandmother: Catherine Henrichs.

Shannon was preceded in death by her grandmother: Grace Klemp, and grandfather: Richard Henrichs and uncle: Doug Henrichs.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, April 30, 2012 from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place on Monday, April 30, 2012 at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Boer officiating.

Per Shannon’s wishes cremation will follow.
