Sandra Ackerman

57 year old, Sandra Kay Ackerman, of DeMotte, Indiana passed away on February 1, 2006.  On October 5, 1948, she was born to Beatrice (nee: Crites) and Ernest Mayfield in Cape Girardeau, Missouri.  She was employed at Lewis & Clark College as a custodian.  She was a member of the DeMotte Christian Church.

She is survived by 2 daughters, Holly & Tom Bartholomew, and Sherry Ackerman, 2 grandchildren, Brittney & Ryan Bartholomew, 3 brothers, Don & Barb Mayfield, Bill Mayfield, and Kenny Mayfield.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Beatrice & Ernest Mayfield, and 1 brother, Bob Mayfield.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. (CST) on Saturday, February 4, 2006, at the DeMotte Christian Church.  Services will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, February 4, 2006 at the DeMotte Christian Church with Pastor David Buche officiating.  Interment will be in the Holland Cemetery of DeMotte.
