Russel 'Rusty' Stalbaum

71 year old, Russel R. Stalbaum, of San Pierre, passed on June 19, 2023.

On May 20, 1952, Russel was born to Raymond L. and Betty E. (Williams) Stalbaum in San Pierre, Indiana. Russel graduated from Tefft High School. He was a roofer and worked out of the Local Union #26. Russel enjoyed camping. He also liked to fish, hunt, and any outdoor activity. When he wasn't doing that he liked to tinker around on his farm. Russ also enjoyed having a few drinks with friends at the Oasis.

Russel is survived by his loving family: girlfriend: Kharon Fuller, children: Cassidy Shorter, Russ (Amber Russo) Stalbaum II, Kelsi Stalbaum, 9 grandchildren: Leo, Chloe, Emalee, Landon, Tyler, Travis, Mia, Callie, and Katrina, and sister: Bonnie (Jerry) Metts.

Russel was preceded in death by his wife: Lisa, parents: Raymond & Betty, brothers: Jim, Larry, Wayne, and Jack.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Monday, June 26, 2023 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove Street, Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Russel will take place at the funeral home on Monday evening at 6:00 p.m. with Pastor Bill Taylor officiating.

Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, June 27, 2023 at 10:00 a.m. at the San Pierre Cemetery.

 In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Breast Cancer Society.
