Roxie Ellen McCarty

54 year old, Roxie Ellen Mc Carty, of Medaryville, passed away on June 29, 2010 in her home with her loving family around her.

On October 1, 1955, Roxie was born to Edward and Shirley (nee: Harris) Cole in Alger, Ohio. Roxie was Q.M.A. and worked for Parkview Haven in Francesville. On July 4, 1986, she married James McCarty at their home in Medaryville.

Roxie is survived by her husband, James McCarty, children: Chad Neeley, Laurie (Brian)White, April Patton, Steven (Gina) Neeley, step-children: LaDonna (Richard) Hicks, Jamie Warran, 13 grandchildren, 10 step-grandchildren, and 6 step-great-grandchildren, one sister, Betty Gibson.

Roxie was preceded in death by her parents: Edward & Shirley, daughter: Stephanie Gayle Neeley, sister: Dona Conley, stepsons: Gary McCarty and Randy McCarty, and mother-in-law: Bernice McCarty.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Friday, July 2, 2010, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services will take place on Saturday July 3, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. (CST) at the funeral home with Pastor Todd Masters officiating interment will take place in the Independence Cemetery.
