Rose Marie Myers

51 year old, Rose Marie Myers, of DeMotte, passed away September 12, 2024 at her home with her loving family around her.

On May 16, 1973, Rose Marie was born to Doug and Goldie (Jones) Roberts, in Valparaiso, Indiana. She was a graduate from Kankakee Valley High School, class of 1991. Rose Marie was a waitress/bartender at SP19. She was a master event planner, who loved celebrating holidays and throwing birthday parties for her loved ones. She was an avid shopper, and enjoyed traveling. Rose Marie was a connoisseur of wine, but her favorite thing to do was to spoil her grandpups.

Rose Marie is survived by her parents: Goldie Roberts and Doug (Janice) Roberts, children: Felicia (Cassie Gibbons) Sytsma, Cody (Haley Wotherspoon) Sytsma, Chloe (Matthew Arflin) Myers, grandmother: Barbara Roberts, and her grandpups: Merlot, Daisy, Maze, and Cali.

Rose Marie is preceded in death by her paternal grandfather: Warren Roberts and maternal grandparents: Lester & Haley Jones.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024, at the Full Gospel Tabernacle Church, 11549 N. St. Rd. 49, Wheatfield, IN 46392. Funeral services will take place at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, September 18, 2024 at the church.

Per Rose Marie’s wishes cremation will take place at a later date.
