Rose Lapkovitch

68 year old, Rose Lapkovitch, of DeMotte, passed away March 29, 2024.

On October 28, 1955, Rose was born to Clifford and Marie (Schiesser) Keilman, in Crown Point, Indiana. She graduated from Crown Point, Indiana, was a Nurse’s Aide, then a LPN, and enjoyed working at the nursing home the most. She loved cooking, sewing, crocheting and quilting. She especially enjoyed watching the CUBS!

Rose is survived by her son: Bryon (Becky) Lapkovitch, and grand fur babies, and siblings: Anne (Stanley) Fuhrmann, and Mary (Robert) Hammit.

Rose was preceded in death by her husband: Steven, parents: Clifford and Marie, sister: Faye Feddern, and brother: David ‘Spike’ Keilman.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Thursday, April 4, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Rose will take place Thursday evening, at 5:00 p.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Jon Hill officiating.

Interment will take place at a later date at the Holland Cemetery.
