Roscoe 'Bud' Wireman

77 year old, Roscoe ‘Bud’ Wireman, of Rensselaer passed away July 23, 2012.

On May 22, 1935, Roscoe was born to Simon & Georgia (nee: Joseph) Wireman in Waldo, Magoffin County, Kentucky. Bud served in the United States Air Force. On October 8, 1960 Bud married the love of his life, Beverly June Nelson in Virgie, Indiana. Bud worked for U.S. Steel for 31 years and then worked for the DNR State Forestry for 14 years before retiring. Bud was a member of the American Legion Post #29 of Rensselaer.

Bud is survived by his loving family, wife: Beverly, children: Teresa (Skeeter) Obrien, Brenda Schmid & special friend: Edward Moore Jr., Carol (Darren) Potts, Angela Armstrong, Travis (Kris) Combs, and son-in-law: Dave DeBolt, 10 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are brothers: Carl Wireman, Clayton (Linda) Wireman, Gene Wireman, Chuck (Barb) Wireman, sisters: Josephine (Farish) Wireman, and Janice (Homer) Wireman.

Bud was preceded in death by his daughter: Sharon DeBolt, parents: Simon and Georgia, brother: Simon Wireman, and 3 sisters: Ruby McCarty, Lula Whitaker, and Ethal Clare.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 26, 2012, at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Bud will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 27, 2012, at the funeral home with Pastor Garner Tullis officiating. Interment will take place at the Prater Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
