Robin R. Steele

71 year old, Robin L. Steele, of Wheatfield, passed away February 22, 2024, at her home, with her loving family around her.

On September 12, 1952, in Rensselaer, Indiana, Robin was born to Howard and Juanita (Robbins) Marshall. She graduated from DeMotte High School, and married the love of her life, Homer Steele, on May 26, 1972, at the DeMotte United Methodist Church. Robin worked as a nurse’s aide for Porter Memorial Hospital, at Pizza King, and retired from the Wheatfield Library. She enjoyed teaching Sunday School, studying the bible, and being involved in her Church activities. Robin liked to meet with friends for lunch, try new restaurants, watch the ID channel, and UTube. She recently added the Kansas City Chiefs to her favorites

Robin is survived by her children: Amanda (Travis) Williams, Andrew (Kelsey) Steele, 6 grandsons, 2 great-granddaughters, and siblings: Rick (Vikky) Marshall, Renee (Terry) Sherrett, and Ruth Howerton.

Robin was preceded in death by her parents and husband: Homer.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, March 1, 2024, at the Community Bible Church of DeMotte. Services for Robin will take place at the church at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, March 2, 2024, with Pastor Rodney Tolleson officiating. Interment will follow at the DeMotte Cemetery.
