Robert L. Young

48 year old, Robert L. Young of Fair Oaks passed away October 7, 2014 at his home as a result of his accident last November.

On October 19, 1965, Robert was born in Hammond, Indiana to Lynn and Veda (Johnson) Young. Robert worked for Ford Motor Company on the assembly line for 25 years. He attended the Full Gospel Tabernacle. He was a member of the Water Fowl USA, Ducks Unlimited and G & D Hunt Club. Robert loved hunting waterfowl.

Robert is survived by his wife: Nancy, daughters: Emily Young and Jessica Young, son: Jake Young, father: Lynn Young, brother: Scott (Diana) Young, many nieces and nephews and his beloved family pet: Dixie.

Robert was preceded in death by his mother: Veda Young, and son: Robert Lee Young.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday, October 13, 2014 from 2:00 until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Robert will take place on Monday, October 13, 2014 at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastors Ken Patrick and Craig Smith officiating. Graveside services will take place on Tuesday, October 14, 2014 at 10:00 at the Kankakee Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family.
