Robert 'Jim' Womack

65 year old, Robert ‘Jim’ Womack of San Pierre, passed away on March 30, 2016 at IU Health LaPorte Hospital.

On September 17, 1950, Jim was born to Charles Edward and Lillian Leah (Atchison) Womack in Chicago, Illinois. Jim attended school at Arcola, Illinois. He worked as a maintenance position at Reiter in Lowell, Indiana for over 30 years.

Jim is survived by his children: Robert ‘Robbie’ (Julie) Womack, Christina ‘Chrissy’ (Chris) Martin, 5 grandchildren, special companion: Janet Ackenhusen, sisters: Ginger Mitchell, Kay Hesh, and Danna (Gary) Hoover-Henry.

Jim was preceded in death by his parents, and one brother: Charles Edward Jr.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 3:00 until 5:00 on Saturday, April 2, 2016 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Jim will take place at the funeral home at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday, with Rev. Lewis Daniel officiating.

Per Jim’s wishes cremation will follow.
