Robert A. Lewis

67 year old, Robert A. Lewis, of Monticello, formerly of Wheatfield, passed away July 26, 2024, with his loving family around him.

On May 2, 1957, Bob was born to Clarence and Frances (Belmont) Lewis, in Gary, Indiana. He married the love of his life, Harriet ‘Luci’ Seals, on February 4, 1978. He was a Mill Technician for Georgia Pacific. When Bob wasn’t busy tinkering and remodeling their home, he enjoyed spending time on the boat with friends and family. He was a member of the ‘Son’s of the American Legion, Post 406 Wheatfield.’

Bob is survived by his loving family, wife: Luci, children: Kevin J. (Shana) Lewis, Robert J. (Marcie) Lewis, 8 grandchildren, and siblings: Roxanne Lewis, and Patrick S. (Lydia Coldiron) Lewis.

Bob was preceded in death by his parents, sons: Mike ‘Mario’ Lewis, Christopher Lewis, and brother: Michael ‘Louis’ Lewis.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, July 30, 2024, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 E. Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Bob will take place at the funeral home at 6:00 p.m.

In Lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Son’s of the American Legion Post 406, or Epilepsy.com.

Per Bob’s wishes cremation will take place, and interment will follow at a later date at DeMotte Cemetery.
