Robert R. Besner

36 year old, Robert R. Besner of Rensselaer, passed away August 31, 2015.

Robert was born on September 2, 1978, in Valparaiso, Indiana to Lyle and Susan (Kerkes) Besner. Robert attended Kankakee Valley Schools and worked for the Operating Engineers Local #150.

Robert is survived by his daughter: Danielle; parents: Lyle & Susan; brother: Michael (Selena) Besner and grandmother: Bethel Kerkes.

Robert was preceded in death by his grandparents: Allen & Nadine Besner, grandfather: Bob Kerkes, and 2 infant brothers: Thomas & Timothy.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Friday, September 4, 2015 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Robert will take place at the funeral home on Saturday, September 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Randall Sparks officiating. Interment will follow in the Kankakee Township Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the family for his daughter Danielle.
