Rev. Ronald Ulrey

82 year old, Rev. Ronald Lee Ulrey, of Rensselaer, passed away July 2, 2019.
On May 1, 1937, Ron was born in Wabash, Indiana to Lloyd Ulrey and Leota (Koontz) Ulrey. Ron was a Pastor and Chemist who tested water. He spent many years as a Southern Baptist Preacher. He was a member of the Lion’s Club, liked to garden, loved animals, Purdue basketball, and liked to make beer and wine.
Ron is survived by his family: Diana (Dan) Becker, Maria (Rick) Ousley, Ronda (Joe) Rixie, 11 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren. Ron is also survived by several siblings: Jeanette Leon, Joe Ulrey, LaMar Ulrey, Larry Ulrey, Julie Ulrey-Miller, Jan Ulrey, Rocky Ulrey, Renard (Dana) Ulrey, Dean (Sandy) Ulrey, Eddie (Sue) Ulrey, Lyle (Terri) Ulrey, and Doreen (Jeff) Ulrey-Crugh.
Ron was preceded in death by his parents, the mother who raised him: (Aunt) Marie Warner, Arden Warner, Theron ‘Gene’ Warner, and Max Warner.
Graveside services for Ron will take place at 12:00 p.m. (noon-EST), at Pleasant Hill Cemetery, North Manchester, Indiana on July 6, 2019.
