Rancie 'Dave' Jones

81 year old, R. David Jones, passed away February 3, 2024.

On June 23, 1942, in Newland, Indiana, Dave was born to Louis and Leona (Risner) Jones. Dave married the love of his life, Alice Stalbaum on December 14, 1962, in Rensselaer, Indiana. He was a carpenter by trade and worked for Hamstra Builders. Dave enjoyed fishing, woodworking, cutting fire wood, and he especially enjoyed his dogs.

Dave is survived by his wife: Alice, sons: Mark (Steph) Jones, Greg (Lorie) Jones, Tim (Brittany) Jones, 3 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren, and brother: Glen Jones.

Dave was preceded in death by his parents, grandsons: David Jones & Nicholas Jones, brothers: Lewis ‘Cliff’ Jones, Robert Jones, Kenny Jones, Ronnie Jones, and sister: Leona Pullins.

Graveside services will take place on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery, Wheatfield, Indiana.
