Ralph E Peo

65 year old, Ralph E. Peo, aka ‘Pop-Pop’, of DeMotte, passed away on July 3, 2019.

On October 3, 1953, Ralph was born to Frank Peo Sr. and Naomi (Bowman) Peo-Robinson in Rensselaer, Indiana. Ralph graduated from Kankakee Valley High School in 1971. He worked as a car salesman for many years, most of those years were at Wiers Chevrolet, in DeMotte. He married the love of his life, Karen Kiersma in DeMotte, on April 23, 1976. Ralph loved his rose garden, listening to the Eagles, keeping his yard well-manicured, Miller Lite in hand with his trusty John Deere mower, and his all encompassing love for his family and friends.

Ralph is survived by his loving family, wife: Karen, daughters: Jennifer (Curtis) Peo-Nysmith, and Lindsay (Craig) Karlowsky, grandchildren: Naomi Rose Nysmith & Kaia Charlie Nysmith, mother: Naomi Robinson, siblings: Marilyn (Mike) Dobson, Stewart (Jan) Peo, Chuck (Cindy) Peo, and Ron (Stephanie) Peo.

Ralph was preceded in death by his father: Frank Sr., and brothers: Larry Peo, Wayne Peo, and Frank Peo Jr.

A Celebration of Life will take place 3:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Sunday, July 7, 2019 at Ralph’s home, 11820 N 1000 W, DeMotte, Indiana, with a memorial service taking place at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Don VanderWall, officiating.
