Prentis Banks Jr.

Prentis (Tim) Banks Jr. passed away on May 25, 2011, at Jasper County Hospital from heart failure.  Prentis was born on June 21, 1949 to Prentis Banks Sr. and Helen (nee: Stepp) Banks in Rensselaer, IN.  He was a graduate of Wheatfield High School.  Prentis married the love of his life, Linda Paulsen, on May 31, 1969.  They were blessed with two children, Sherry and Timothy.

Prentis was a longtime resident of Wheatfield, IN.  He was a retired carpenter and successful business owner of Custom Woodcrafters. Prentis was a loving son, brother, husband, father, grandfather and loyal friend.  He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Prentis is survived by his loving children; daughter Sherry, son Timothy, mother Helen and two brothers, Terry (Suellen) and Larry (Joe).  He also has 3 grandchildren, Zachary, Cybill and Taylor.  He was preceded in death by his father Prentis Banks Sr. and brother, Jerry.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, June 2, 2011, from 4:00 until 6:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. A memorial service will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Hester officiating.

In lieu of flowers, memorials maybe made to the family.
