Piper 'Angie' Konchar

50 year old, Piper ‘Angie’ Konchar of Kouts,  passed away May 28, 2016.

On December 4, 1965, in Hammond, Indiana, Angie was born to Larry and Dorothy (Anderson) Perigo. Angie graduated from Lowell High School. She married the love of her life, Mitchell Konchar on December 3, 1988 at the Nazarene Church in Lowell, Indiana. She loved working as a Kindergarten Instructional Aide for Kouts Elementary School. She attended the Open Door Fellowship Church, Kouts, Indiana. She enjoyed Worship Music, cross-stitch, arts & crafts, antiquing, and gardening on her knees like her grandfather did. She especially loved all of her ‘children’ from the community.

Angie is survived by her loving family: husband: Mitchell, daughters: Olivia Konchar, Colette (Todd) Popovich, Natasha Konchar, 6 grandchildren: Ethan, Violet, Devin, Tristan, Ava, and Chandler, siblings: Julie (Larry) Vick and Gary (Diane) Perigo.

Angie was preceded in death by her mother: Dorothy.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 2:00 until 6:00 p.m. on June 1, 2016 at Open Door Fellowship Church, Kouts. Services for Angie will take place at the church at 6:00 p.m. with Pastors Jerry Kandel and Sam Abbott officiating.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Kouts Elementary Scholarship Fund in memory of Angie.

Per Angie’s wishes cremation will follow.
