Phyllis Tanner

89 year old, Phyllis Tanner, of Wheatfield, passed away July 7, 2019.

On November 8, 1929, in Dually, Montana, Phyllis was born to Adolfe and Mable (Olson) Torgrimson. She graduated from Noxon High School, she was a cheerleader and was in the school band. She married the love of her life, Robert K. Tanner, of Rensselaer, Indiana, at St. Mary’s in Idaho, on August 21, 1948. They met while working in the Forest Service, in Montana.

Phyllis is survived by her daughter: Christine (Mike) Betts, grandsons: Joshua Betts, Jacob Betts, great-grandchildren: Hadlee Betts, and Harper Betts. She is also survived by 2 brothers: Kenneth Torgrimson and Darrel (Penny) Torgrimson, and many nieces and nephews.

Phyllis was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Robert, son: Forest and 2 brothers: Robert Torgrimson, and Dean Torgrimson.

Per Phyllis’ wishes cremation will take place.
