Paul M. Chernowsky

97 year old, Paul M. Chernowsky of LaRussell, Missouri formerly of Wheatfield, passed away October 27, 2015, at Mount Vernon Place, Missouri.

On October 27, 1918, Paul was born to Peter and Patricia (Erbun) Chernauskis in Indiana Harbor, Indiana. Paul graduated from Wheatfield High School and was a self-employed farmer and bullet maker. Paul served in the U.S. Army during WWII. He was a member of the U.S. Army WWII 104th Flaming Bombers.

Paul is survived by his children: Tom (Betty) Chernowsky, Charles (Judy) Chernowsky, Frank (Penny) Chernowsky, and Sheri (Frank) Lapachek, and 14 grandchildren.

Paul was preceded in death by his parents, 1 son: Paul Jr., 1 daughter: Barbara, and 1 sister: Pat Finney.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Saturday, October 31, 2015 from 10:00 until 11:30 a.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Paul will be conducted 11:30 a.m. by his Family and Friends at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Cemetery, Wheatfield, Indiana.
