Patty L. Blaszczyk

91 year old, Patty L. Blaszczyk, passed away February 21, 2023.

Patty was born on August 17, 1931, to Walter and Lucille (Bailey) Green, in Wheatfield, Indiana. Patty graduated from Wheatfield High School. She loved being a housewife, and spending time with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She was a lifelong member of Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church. She was an avid golfer and bowler, and shared that with her grandchildren.

Patty is survived by her children: Mark (Jill) Blaszczyk, Terri (Kenneth) Miller, Jill (Kirk) Kozak, Tim (Rachelle) Blaszczyk, 8 grandchildren: Dustin, Lyndsey, Wally, Cassie, Brook, Erik, Paige, and Wade, 11 great-grandchildren: Emma, Nora, Hayden, Hadley, Allison, Abram, Elsie, Drew, Ava, Jack and Zara, siblings: Arthur (Elizabeth) Green, Ruby Williams, and twin sister: Peggy (Chester) Potempa.

Patty was preceded in death by her parents, husband: ‘Hank’, brother: Walter (Melvina) Green, brother-in-law: Dale Williams.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 9:00 until 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church, with Mass at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 24, 2023, officiated by Father Michael McKinney. Interment will follow at Sorrowful Mother Catholic Church Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Sorrowful Mother Food Pantry.
