82-year-old Orville Manns of Cape Coral Florida formerly of Jasper County passed away on Monday November 7, 2011 at the Hope Hospice Center of Cape Coral.
Orville was born on May 16, 1929 in Wayland, (Floyd County) Kentucky, to Ernest and Elizabeth (nee: Higgins) Manns. Orville attended school in Wayland until his family moved to Newland Indiana where he then continued his education.
On August 16, 1952 in Rensselaer, Indiana Orville married the love of his life Ruby Wireman, who survives.
Orville was a machine operator for Indiana General in Valparaiso until his retirement. Orville and Ruby moved to Florida where he returned to work, farming and running machines for the Orange Grove Services.
Orville and Ruby moved up to Franklin, North Carolina where they became members of the Franklin Church of God.
Orville missing the warm weather of Florida made another move back to Cape Coral just this year.
Orville is survived by his wife Ruby, one son Orville ( Ray ) Manns and one Grandson Hunter Ray Manns, sisters: Freeda (Tom) Arnett and Janett (Mike) Kingman
Orville was preceded in death by his parents; brothers: Forest, Morris and Darnce Manns; sisters: Ernesteen Kleinow and Beulah Richie; step-mother Bertha Manns
Friends are invited to visit with the family at the Wheatfield Pentecostal Church of God on Saturday November the 12, 2011 from 9:30 AM until 11:30AM. Services for Orville will be on Saturday November the 12, 2001 at 11:30 AM with Rev. Eveston Risner officiating . Interment will follow in Memory Gardens cemetery in Rensselaer, Indiana
