85 year old, Morton M. Harrington II passed away March 19, 2012 at his home with his loving family around him.
On January 3, 1927, Mort was born to Morton and Frances (nee: Kadlec) Harrington in Chicago, Illinois. Mort attended Tefft Schools and graduated in 1947. On May 19, 1949, Mort married the love of his life, Esther A. Fenzel. Mort was in the Navy during WW II and was a farmer & mild producer, a pilot, and he loved to work on old cars. He was a member of the VFW of Rensselaer, Wheatfield Legion, Winamac Old Car Club, Old Irons Club. He attended St. Luke Community Church of San Pierre.
Mort is survived by his wife: Esther, children: Morton (Debbie) Harrington III, Nancy (Richard) Capouch, and Rosemary (Mick) Capouch, 7 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.

Mort was preceded in death by his parents and brother Roy.
Friends are invited to visit with the family on Thursday, March 22, 2012, from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Mort will take place on Friday, March 23, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. (CST) at St. Luke’s United Church of Christ of San Pierre with Pastor Richard Holtz officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso, Indiana.
