90 year old, Mollie Marcella Hoffman of San Pierre, passed away June 26, 2017.

On January 6, 1927, in Denham, Indiana, Marcella was born to Otto and Mollie (Henning) Dommer. Marcella graduated from Winamac High School and went on to graduate from Electronic Radio-Television Institute in Omaha, Nebraska with a degree in Airline Communication. Marcella married the love of her life, Bob Hoffman, May 23, 1948. Marcella owned and operated Marcella’s Quilt Shop for 45 years. She was a 4-H Leader, Cub Scout Leader, a member of the Quilt Club, and was involved with the Home Extension Club. In addition to her quilting, she loved writing, gardening, crafting, and spending time with her grandchildren.

Marcella is survived by her loving family: husband: Bob, children: Ruth (Larry) Timm, Nancy (Roger) McCarty, Linda Williams, son-in-law: Eugene Timm, 11 grandchildren, 33 grandchildren, and special friend & caretaker: Desiree Risner

Marcella was preceded in death by her parents, daughter: Martha Timm, 5 brothers: August, Walter, Harold, Henry & Richard, and 3 sisters: Helen, Velma, & Thelma.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. (CST) on Wednesday, June 28, 2017 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. (CST) at White Post Cemetery, Medaryville on Thursday, June 29, 2017, funeral services will take place at 11:00 a.m. (CST) on Thursday, June 29, 2017 at St. Luke Community Church, San Pierre, Indiana.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Luke Community Church of San Pierre, Indiana.
