Michael L Besner

36 year old, Michael L. Besner, of Wheatfield passed away March 1, 2020 due to an accident.

On July 12, 1983, in Valparaiso, Indiana, Michael was born to Lyle and Susan (Kerkes) Besner. He was a lifetime area resident. He graduated from Kankakee Valley High School, class of 2002. Michael married the love of his life, Selena Ann Furr on October 6, 2012 in Remington, Indiana. He loved being a photographer, and liked to fish when he had extra time.

Michael is survived by his wife: Selena, son: Lucas, parents: Lyle & Susan Besner, and grandma: Bethel Kerkes.

Michael was preceded in death by his brother: Robert R. Besner, grandparents: Allen & Nadine Besner, grandfather: Bob Kerkes, and infant premees: Thomas & Timothy.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 1:00 until 5:00 p.m. on Sunday, March 8, 2020 at Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Michael will take place at the funeral home on Sunday, at 5:00 p.m. with Pastor Paul Dyke officiating.

Graveside services will take place at 10:00 a.m. on Monday March 9, 2020, at Kankakee Township Cemetery.
