Matthew Ketchum

39 year old, Matthew Ketchum of Kniman/Wheatfield, passed away December 27, 2024 at his home.

On February 10, 1985, Matthew was born to Stanley and Lisa (Cross) Ketchum, in Merrillville, Indiana. He graduated from Kankakee Valley High School, class of 2003. His favorite job was working for Ketchum Pest Control, for his father. Matthew loved coaching for the Wheatfield Little League, especially the year he was the Championship Coach, for Wheatfield Little League in 2015.

Matthew is survived by his loving family, parents: Stan and Lisa Ketchum, siblings: Aaron Ketchum and Serena Ketchum, niece: Veronica Ketchum and nephew: Kristian Ketchum.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 7:00 p.m. on Friday, January 3, 2025 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. A Family and Friends service will take place at the funeral home at 7:00 p.m. Graveside Services will take place at 10:00 a.m. at the Kniman Cemetery on Saturday, January 4, 2025.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Wheatfield Little League.
