Mary K. Waters

92 year old, Mary K. Waters, of Wheatfield, passed away August 2, 2020 at her home.

On June 19, 1928, Mary was born in Lawrenceville, Illinois to Squire James and Mary (Linkhart) Gordon. She married the love of her life, Walter ‘Warren’ Waters on July 26, 1944, in Lawrenceville, Illinois. Mary was a bookkeeper for Warren’s Auto for many years. She was a member of the red-hat club, and was an avid collector of Barbie dolls. She also liked to paint and draw.

Mary is survived by her loving family: Joe (Nancy) Waters, Beverly (Albert) DePra, Linda Clark, Karen (Larry) Walstra, 15 grandchildren, and MANY great-grandchildren.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents, husband: Warren, infant son: Walter Warren Waters, grandson: Jeremy Allen Waters, sisters: Opal, Ada, Eloise, Lillian.

Graveside services will be held at the Holland Cemetery, on August 6, 2020, at 11:00 a.m.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Donor’s Choice.

A Celebration of Life will take place at a later date.
