Mary A. Walstra

64 year old, Mary A. Walstra of DeMotte passed away on September 7, 2011.

On February 7, 1947 in Rensselaer, Mary was born to the late Gerrit and Leona (nee: Kooy) Bennema. Mary was a lifetime resident and graduated from DeMotte High School in the class of 1965. On March 31, 1967 in DeMotte she married William Walstra. Mary worked at Tysens in DeMotte and at Town and Country Market in Valparaiso.

Surviving along with her husband Bill, one daughter Tammy (Mick) Dyniewski, and three grandchildren Will, Gabrielle, Daphne, two sisters: Barbara (Arthur) Dawdy, Sandra (Bill) Grew.

Mary was preceded in death by her parents.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Monday  September 12, 2011 at the American Reformed Church from 11:00 AM until service time at 12:30 PM with Pastors Dan Jelsma, Troy Nannenga officiating. Internment will follow in the Holland Cemetery.

Memorials maybe given to Oak Grove or the DeMotte Christian School.
