Mary A. Garling

95 year old, Mary A. (nee: Tilton) Garling of Wheatfield, passed away May 27, 2010

On July 3, 1914, Mary was born in Wheatfield, to John A. and Goldie Faye (nee: Cooper) Tilton. Mary was a lifetime area resident who married Dale Garling (who preceded her). Mary worked in the Health Care industry for Porter Memorial Hospital.

Mary is survived by her children: Carma Jean McMahan, Janice Fay (Mack) Stansberry, John Edward Garling, and Judy Kay Pate. Mary is also survived by 10 grandchildren, 37 great-grandchildren, and 39 great-great- grandchildren and 1 sister Vera Ethel Lowman.

Mary was preceded in death by her, husband Dale Garling Sr., 2 sons Dale Jr. and Robert Garling, 2 son-in-laws Ronald McMahan and James Pate, 1 brother Victor Tilton, 2 grandchildren David Craft and Brian Keith Stansberry and 1 great-grandson Chans Garling.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Monday, May 31, 2010, at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Mary will take place at the Boersma Funeral Home on Tuesday June 1, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. with Pastor Don Gear officiating. Interment will take place at the Wheatfield Cemetery.
