Mary L. Ferguson

80 year old, Mary L Ferguson of Wheatfield, passed away March 21, 2016 at the Rensselaer Care Center.

On July 22, 1935, Mary was born in Culver, to Lige and Gladys (Ransbottom) Russell. She married Richard D. “Lefty” Ferguson on November 6, 1950 in Rensselaer, Indiana. She helped ‘Lefty’ at Lefty’s Sales and Service while raising their six boys.

Mary is survived by her loving family, sons: Richard A. (Linda) Ferguson, Robert (Mary) Ferguson, Ronald (Margo) Ferguson, Randall (Shannon) Ferguson, Russell Ferguson, & Roger (Kathy) Ferguson, 14 grandchildren and 31 great-grandchildren and sister: Virginia Todd.

Mary was preceded in death by her loving husband: Lefty, 1 grandson: Brandon, 1 brother, and 5 sisters.

Friends are invited to visit with the family from 4:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 24, 2016 at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Mary will take place at the funeral home on Friday, March 25, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home with Pastor Tim Hester officiating. Interment will follow in the Wheatfield cemetery.
