Marlene Fieler

69 year old, Marlene Fieler of Medaryville, formerly of Wheatfield, passed away June 7, 2009.

On September 4, 1939 Marlene was born to Truman Sr. and Rosa (nee: Ellis) Nelson. Marlene was a truck driver, and Owner of Star Transportation.  She was a member of the American Legion Aux. 96 Post of Medaryville.

She is survived by her mother, Rosa Darner, daughters, Becky (Harold) Richie, Mindy (Rick) Click and Shannon (Joe) Burch, 10 grandchildren, and very soon 2 great-grandchildren. Also surviving are sisters: Loretta Allseitz and Mrian Sheffer, brothers: Deavern (Margurite) Nelson, and Truman (Mary) Nelson Jr.

She was preceded in death by her father.

Friends are invited to visit with the family on Wednesday, June 10, 2009 from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at the Boersma Funeral Home, 90 East Grove St., Wheatfield, Indiana. Services for Marlene will be held Thursday, June 11, 2009, at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with pastor Doug Salyers officiating. Interment will take place at Graceland Cemetery in Valparaiso.
