92-year-old Marion Hale of Wheatfield formerly Of Royal Center, Indiana passed away on Saturday, February 4, 2012 at the Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village, DeMotte, Indiana. Marion was born August 9, 1919 in Manistee County Michigan to the late Myron and Bessie (nee: McCloud) Hale. Marion is survived by one son Jerry (Pamela) Hale of Wheatfield, one daughter Delores (Paul) Hutson of Albuquerque, New Mexico; granddaughters, Julia ( Bryan) Tillema, Allison (James) Sells; grandsons, Greg, Chris, and Steve (Jennifer) Hutson; great-granddaughters, Ashley (Justin) Schafer, Kelsey Tillema, Sophia Sells, and Nikota Hutson; great grandsons, Brian Hutson, Jack and Peter Sells; and a great great grandson Atticus Schafer. Marion was a graduate of the Royal Center High School class of 1938. He was married on July 4, 1942 to Betty Seward of Royal Center who preceded him in death in 2003. Marion worked for over 25 years at the Pioneer School Corporation as their custodian. Marion was a member of the Baptist-Christian church of Royal Center, where he served as Elder, Deacon, and adult Sunday school teacher for many years. After moving to Wheatfield 16 years ago, Marion attended the First Reformed Church of DeMotte. Memorials may be given to the Oak Grove Christian Retirement Village of DeMotte, IN 46310. Graveside services for Marion Hale will be held on Wednesday, February 8, 2012 at 10 o’clock Central standard Time or 11 o’clock Eastern standard Time in The Royal Center, Cemetery, Royals Center, Indiana, with Pastor Roger Huitink officiating.
