Marilyn K. Jones

77 year old, Marilyn K. Jones, of Kersey, passed away December 31, 2021.

Marilyn was born on December 16, 1944, in Lafayette, to Floyd and Mary (Edwards) McClure. She graduated from Rensselaer High School. She married Robert Jones on July 17, 1977, in Rensselaer, Indiana. Marilyn worked at Farm Bureau at their switchboard, and Tysen’s as a stocker and cashier. Marilyn liked to read and bake cookies. She especially liked to work out in the yard, and garden. Marilyn was very particular about her mowing. Marilyn will be missed by many.

Marilyn is survived by: Sue Ellen (the late Terry) Banks, Jac (Mary) Jones, Scott ‘Matt’ Jones, 6 grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildrenn and many friends.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her parents, and her husband: Robert ‘Bob’ Jones.

Per Marilyn’s wishes cremation will take place, and her ashes will be interred on March 15, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. at Independence Cemetery next to Bob’s.
